Grant Park first.The irreverant TV comedy Married... with Children title shows Buckingham Fountain as a fun landmark, so I had to take a picture of me with it.

The bean is a metallic art which has a seamless curved structure, and it reflects the skyline.
There's also a new fountain which has photos of ordinary chicagoans, and once in a while, it spits out water to the people underneath.
We walked by the same promenade where While You Were Sleeping and My Best Friend's Wedding was shot.
After downtown, we tracked down my favorite Thai restaurant in Chicago, Dao, here are two pics - outside and inside. I remember having the best Beef with Basil leaf there, so that's what we ordered.
Then we went to the nearby beachfront area around navy pier and took some more pictures.
The day ended at Evanston with Fried Green Tomatoes at Dixie Kitchen.
