I'm OK and safe

Kabul's Serena Hotel, the luxurious hotel that my colleagues go to for gym was attacked by four gunmen. I don't have enough details, but Bren said he heard explosions from his place, about 20 min drive away. So it must be big. I'm on the other side of town with a hill in between, so didn't hear anything.

Couldn't attend quiz night, I was about to head to that direction, but I'm safe at home, listening to Diana Krall.
