Khwaja Abdullah Ansari is the 11th century sufi scholar of Herat. He is called the "peer" of Herat, and his tomb was created into a prayer complex, complete with an underground mosque
His body has been preserved in the blue cage, and people sits down and prays for their material desires.
There are rooms for other scholars too.
