Walk to Himchari

I somehow convinced my travelmates that we should walk to Himchari beach from Cox's Bazar. I've done this before year and a half ago with one of my schoolmates, and it was fun, although I got severe sunburn that time after the two hour trip.
This time, I was prepared with sun-protection lotion, water, food, and appropriate clothing. Deneb even bought caps for me and Ropu before the trip. It turned out to be semi-cloudy day, perfect for walking.
One of the highlights of this trip was a beach where the red crabs come to lay their eggs. The entire sand was covered with small red crabs, but we couldn't take pictures, as our footsteps sent all of them running to take cover under the sand and in the water. It was one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen.
I was in a pensive mood, and had my iPod on the whole time. I kept American Pie (the Madonna version) on repeat, and at one point started humming the tunes, forgetting that there were people around me.
A long long time ago I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile
And I knew that if I had my chance
I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while

And I was indeed happy for a while.
