This year, thanks to good friends, I got not one, but two surprise parties.
Deneb organized one in Cox's Bazar for me and Najia, who has the same b'day. Here we are trying out our cool cakes.
I was pretty happy by this point. Then on my way back to Dhaka the next day, Sajjad and Ghalib bhai called and asked me to join them for a dinner get together. And when I get there, I found out that the dinner was for me. I even got a cool gift. Here in the pics we have Sajjad and Mouree, Ghalib bhai, Tumpa and Prathama, and Jewel and Sangita apa, all good friends from my TV days.
Finally, Jewel dropped me home, and I opened my computer and got overwhelmed by emails, facebook messages.I'm very grateful to everyone for all the good wishes.
