The pic on top was taken in Chauddagram back in 2004, I just realized that I haven't done rain photography in a while. Will have to correct it this week.
The other two pics below are pics of sunshine in Sylhet, where I was couple of weeks ago. Check out the woman in orange saree hanging clothes on the line, which should give an idea about the scale of the picture.
"I could say things to him/her (Bangla is very gender neutral sometimes) on days like this." It's part of a Tagore song, but my colleague in the next cubicle failed to give me the source or context. Oh well.
It's been raining since last afternoon, with a little reprieve around 8am today, for me to allow to come to work. I could lie in my bed, and listen to the rain all night long. The rhythm is sometimes calming, sometimes exciting, sometimes melancholy and often just there, like a good old friend.
And it is slowly, but surely, washing me clean, getting me ready for a fresh new start.
