Home Companion

One of the most brilliant directors signed off today. I got introduced to Robert Altman through his film Short Cuts. It was summer of '94, I was at my sister's house vacationing at Sunnyvale, California. I rented the movie, and it blew me away. Especially the sequence at the cake shop made me cry.

The next day, I went and got the Player.

Kristy Wade made me rent Nashville in summer of 1999, I never finished it.

I saw Cookie's Fortune summer of 2000.

Summer of 2005, I saw Gosford Park.

So, Altman movies and my summers are interconnected. I still haven't seen many movies - MASH, Praerie Home Companion. But guess what I'll do next summer?
