Urban Cosmetics (1993)

My other favorite picture (a bad photograph of it on left, courtesy of Ilikeredfroggies) was Urban Cosmetics by Phillipino artist Tony Leano.

The description says:

"Night-time stretches out in the city where an anonymous crowd surges along a busy street, self - absorbed in their own worlds, intent on their respective destinations.
...
Dwarfed by the forest of towering skyscrapers and cranes, the artist points to a forlorn dead cat by the street with a poem:"

"While men carried
Their dead with a stretcher,
They left a dead cat on the road;
But even if they would bury the cat
They would do it
Not because it has a soul
But because it stinks. "

Quite an imagery, isn't it?
