I love Malaysia Airlines. After taking the other popular budget airliner last year, I was thrilled (okay, exaggerating a bit) with the MA service this time.
Both times, the plane hit turbulence while they were serving food, and the pilot announced that because of the turbulence, they won't be serving hot beverages on this flight. On my flight out, I didn't think much of it, other than a cup of tea/coffee could have helped. On my way back, I was irritated.
I wonder if they were saving money, or did not want the hassle of heating up water, or get some cups dirty. But hot beverage is something we take for granted, and turbulence or no turbulence, they should put a little effort in making sure we get some.
Phew, now that wasn't hard, was it? :-)
