"The Rain. Sometimes it Gives Me the Blues."

The title quote is from the movie, Misery (1990), for which Kathy Bates won the Best Actress Oscar. Vish and I loved this movie so much, we used to mimic Kathy Bates' accent, and quote dialogues from the movie every chance we got. There are couple of great quotes. This particular line continues like this:

When you first came here, I only loved the writer part of Paul Sheldon. Now I know I love the rest of him, too. I know you don't love me, don't say you do. You're beautiful, brilliant, a famous man of the world and I'm... not a movie star type. You'll never know the fear of losing someone like you if you're someone like me.

I was thinking of this movie during my vacation to Cox's Bazar. I was there to get away from it all and reenergize myself. It was a cathartic, inspiring trip, and I came back with a clean slate, a good perspective, and a whole lot of gratitude for friends who matter.

Let the games begin.
