2006 Remembered - April

OK, I struggled to put something on April 2006 entry. It's not like nothing happened, but after 8 months, it took me sometime to remember. The theme of this month would be serendipity.

First, Jyo and Mike got married. I missed it. I'm hoping that this year, I finally get to meet the groom. I love Jyo and wish her the best.

Second, I made a wish list on this blog on Bangla new years day.

I'll quote it here:

"1. Extensive travel (April in Singapore, June in China (Kunming)/Kuala Lumpur, August in India/Laos, October in Bhutan/Mauritius)
2. Some sanity and balance in work and academic life, which is consuming 80% of my time these days."

Well, compared to target, I had 75% achievement (May in Singapore, September in Beijing and October in Goa, India). And balance in work and academic life still remains elusive. But I'm trying.

Third, postcards from Vietnam: Innovative cards sent to me from the nomad. It was very memorable and very funny. I loved it and felt very special because of them.
