A Short Film About Love

I've held off long enough. Really. Because I thought, once the floodgates open, this blog will turn into Imti's Hollywood Screen Kiss.

I love movies, I eat drink and breath movies. When I was little, I gawked at movies as if they were the real life. I watched the Sound of Music about 60 times before I was 18 (and not once since, especially after watching Christina Ricci tied up and having to watch it in Addams Family Values). I wanted to grow up and become a writer. Then I found out that I actually like things visually, and wanted to become a director. I even picked up my first script, Devi Chowdhurani, and wrote a spec script. At Bard, I wrote a memoir to A Streetcar Named Desire, and always wanted to act on a remake. And after watching While You Were Sleeping, I dragged Anouk to two different malls to get the poster for the film.

I just found on the web one of my favorite short films. It was produced by Erroll Morris for the 2002 Academy Awards and talks about which movies people love. Check out the film here. The film for the first time made me realize that there are other nuts like myself out there.

Enjoy.
